On this project we were replacing an old clogged copper drainage line. In this I learned how to use transition fittings and how they work. They have different sides for each type of pipe they transition because different kinds of pipe have different OD (Outer Diameter). Since we don’t have a drain snake, we cut out a couple sections of pipe, then ran water down what was left to make sure the leak wasn’t further down.
