Sweat Copper
At this job I was working on assembling a water manifold. This is at one of the larger jobs I have worked at. At this job I was learning how to work with larger copper pipe like 1-1/4" and 1" (at this point I had only really worked with 1/2" and 3/4"). I learned that with larger pipe, it’s mostly the same as soldering smaller pipe, but you need to be more careful about fully heating it all the way around. I also got some good practice in with soldering in general. Overall I would say this was a helpful learning experience for working with larger and more important projects.
